Ham & Green Beans

Ham and Green BeansAnother classic Pennsylvania Dutch standby, especially when local green beans are in season. You can use more or less beans or potatoes as desired. You can also substitute a leftover meaty ham bone for the meat or even a little bacon for a lighter version.

Nathan’s Favorite Foil Packet Dinner

Foil Packet SurpriseNathan absolutely loves these easy-to-make foil packet dinners. I like that I can always vary ingredients to make them a little bit different – like a little foil surprise every time you open one up. 😉

We especially enjoy taking these on camping trips and cooking them over an open fire, but they’re just as easy to make in the oven. Enjoy!
